Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.\nJob Description:\nPosition Summary\nThe Superintendent is responsible for leading manufacturing operations within the Door Plant, Millroom, and Framing departments to meet production schedules while ensuring quality products are produced in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This position provides leadership and direction to departmental supervisors and team members, driving operational excellence, workforce development, continuous improvement, and safety compliance.\nResponsibilities\nLead daily operations of the Door Plant, Millroom, and Framing departments to achieve safety, quality, production, and delivery goals. \nProvide leadership, coaching, and support to departmental supervisors to drive performance, accountability, and employee development. \nEnsure production schedules are met while maintaining efficiency, productivity, and cost objectives. \nMonitor staffing, workflow, and production performance to identify and implement improvement opportunities. \nPromote and enforce company safety policies and ensure employees are properly trained for their assigned work. \nPartner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues and improve operational performance. \nMonitor product quality and implement corrective actions to reduce defects, rework, and waste. \nManage departmental performance to achieve budget, labor, and operational targets. \nMaintain accurate production records, labor reporting, and departmental documentation. \nLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and employee engagement. \nFoster a positive work environment through effective communication, teamwork, and leadership. \nMaintain high standards of housekeeping, organization, and workplace efficiency. \nSupport workforce planning, cross-training, succession planning, and staffing needs.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 5-8 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a high-volume production environment.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience managing supervisors, teams, or manufacturing operations.\nStrong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.\nProven ability to drive results while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and employee development.\nExperience managing multiple departments, processes, or production areas preferred.\nAbility to analyze production data and make sound business decisions.\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence principles preferred.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nKey Success Measures\nSafety performance and compliance\nProduction attainment and schedule adherence\nQuality results and defect reduction\nLabor efficiency and cost management\nEmployee engagement and retention\nContinuous improvement implementation\nTraining and workforce development\nDepartmental housekeeping and organization\nCompensation Range:\n$74,600.00-117,260.00*Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
