Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.\nJob Description:\nResponsible for the supervision of operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner.\nThe most successful supervisor motivates employees to resolve issues and make good decisions in order to meet departmental and plant goals in the areas of safety, quality and production. Together with your team you will promote a clean safe work area while continuously checking for hazardous conditions and ensure policies, programs and standard work procedures are followed to meet production goals.\nThis position is on 2nd shift at our Goshen, IN facility, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday overtime.\nKey Accountabilities\nPromote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for hazardous conditions.\nAchieve departmental, plant, and corporate goals for safety, quality, and productivity.\nSupervise the activities and personnel engaged in manufacturing of products within their assigned department and shift.\nCreate, maintain, and audit Standard Work.\nInterpret, apply, and/or consistently enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules.\nLead production employees in continuous improvement activities.\nDevelop, direct, and manage manufacturing personnel and train them to properly utilize all equipment and tools.\nCharacteristics & Attributes\nEnsures accountability; holds self and others accountable to meet commitments\nDrives result; consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances\nCommunicate effectively; develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences\nInstills trust; gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity\nCollaboration: works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives\nDirects work; provides clear direction and accountabilities\nDrives Engagement; creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives\nPersuades; use compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others\nBeing Resilient; rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.\nEducation & Experience\nStrong analytical, problem solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n2-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.\nBS degree or AS degree in a technical or business-related field preferred. \nEqual Employment Opportunity\nMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
