Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.\nJob Description:\nPosition Summary\nThe Machine Operator - CNC & Multi Cam plays a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations. This position is responsible for operating specialized CNC and Multi Cam equipment to accurately prepare materials that directly support production requirements. In addition to machine operation, this team member maintains ownership of the plant’s inventory for all materials and components processed within the work area. The role requires strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, inventory accuracy, equipment care, and the ability to coordinate material movement based on production needs.\nOrganizational Relationship\nPosition reports to the Receiving Supervisor\nResponsibilities\nSafely set up, operate, and monitor CNC and Multi Cam equipment to produce accurately prepared materials that meet established quality and production standards.\nInterpret production requirements, machine instructions, measurements, and specifications to ensure materials are processed correctly.\nManage the plant’s inventory for assigned materials and prepared components, including monitoring quantities, maintaining organization, and supporting inventory accuracy.\nCoordinate with the materials teams to ensure the correct items are available when and where they are needed.\nOperate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and other material-handling equipment, to safely transport, stage, and store materials throughout the facility.\nPerform required preventive maintenance on CNC and Multi Cam equipment to protect machine performance, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.\nInspect equipment regularly and identify mechanical, operational, or safety concerns before they affect production.\nTroubleshoot routine machines and material issues and communicate concerns requiring additional maintenance or technical support.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with plant safety and 6S expectations.\nComplete required production, maintenance, inventory, and material-movement documentation accurately.\nParticipate in ongoing technical education and hands-on training to strengthen machine knowledge, improve operating techniques, and remain current on equipment requirements.\nServe as a knowledgeable resource for the equipment and materials managed within the assigned area.\nQualifications\nAbility to safely operate or learn to operate CNC and Multi Cam equipment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop advanced technical knowledge.\nAbility to perform preventive maintenance and recognize equipment abnormalities.\nExperience operating a forklift or willingness to obtain required certification.\nStrong attention to detail, measurement accuracy, and quality.\nAbility to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.\nAbility to prioritize work based on production needs.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work independently while communicating effectively with production, materials, leadership, and maintenance teams.\nCommitment to safety, continuous learning, and continuous improvement.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
