Come see why our associates love working at MasterBrand.\nJob Description:\nJob Description\nThe Quality Associate works within the Carlisle Quality System, using analysis and statistical techniques, to assist in the continual improvement of the manufacturing processes. This individual will also assist in solving problems, controlling variables, and providing candid & accurate feedback that are critical to quality.\nOrganizational Relationship:\nThis position will report to the area Supervisor.\nAccountabilities:\nActively participate in the Layered Process Audits and work towards resolution of open items\nInteracts with Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and Engineering in the identification and resolution of product quality problems\nInteracts with internal and external customers to resolve quality problems\nParticipate in the Customer Complaint Analysis\nLead and track daily/weekly operational metrics (PPM, QA boards, NorthStar, OOCA, OBKA, color checks, etc.)\nPeriodically review specifications and Standard Operating Sheets (SOS) etc. for accuracy and revisions\nSupport Carlisle Operations employees and leadership as needed to interpret specifications and solve problems collaborative.\nSupport the Quality System by performing tasks to ensure compliance and initiate continuous improvement of the system\nProvide accurate information and feedback to the Leadership Team\nProvide training/coaching on quality related issues to production associates and management\nLead and/or participate in Kaizen improvement events\nGenerate, modify, and complete Standard Operating Sheets (SOS)\nAll other duties may be assigned at management's discretion\nQualifications\nAbility to apply and interpret statistical data\nComputer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required\nMust be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills\nMust have the ability to actively initiate, lead, and participate in problem solving activities\nMust be able to give candid feedback and report findings of non-compliance to the Carlisle Quality System\nAbility to maintain professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities\nMust have the ability to deliver a formal project status presentation to MBC Leadership\nTwo years’ experience within a manufacturing environment preferred\nEducation:\nHigh School Graduate or Equivalent\nAdditional Information\nFor nearly 70 years, MasterBrand has been shaping the places where people come together, enriching lives and creating meaningful memories for our customers.
