We are looking for an Analyst, Business Development to provide analytical and commercial support across merchant and acceptance activities in the Philippines. The role combines data analysis, customer communication and business development support, helping the team turn insights into stronger commercial conversations and execute initiatives effectively. You will support merchant opportunities, promotions, partner business reviews and other commercial activities while building an understanding of the payments ecosystem. Working within a collaborative local team, this is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to Mastercard's business and develop commercial, analytical and stakeholder-management capabilities.Role\nSupport business development activities across Mastercard's merchant, acceptance and acquiring relationships in the Philippines.\nAnalyse customer and transaction data to identify insights that support merchant opportunities, commercial discussions and business decisions.\nPrepare analysis and supporting materials for merchant and acquirer business reviews and other customer discussions.\nSupport the development and execution of merchant promotions, including coordinating and communicating relevant promotion information to Mastercard customers.\nRespond to routine customer questions and coordinate internally to ensure accurate and timely follow-up.\nSupport commercial discussions and longer-term opportunities by preparing relevant data, insights and presentation materials.\nWork closely with colleagues across the Philippines business and relevant cross-functional teams to support customer initiatives.\nAssist with presentations, reports and commercial materials that translate data and business information into clear insights.\nBuild knowledge of Mastercard's payments ecosystem, including merchants, acceptance, acquiring and transaction processing, while progressively taking on broader responsibility.\nAll About You\nDemonstrated experience in a commercial, sales, marketing, analytical or customer-focused roles.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in using data to answer commercial questions and generate meaningful insights.\nClear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.\nCommercial curiosity and mindset, with an interest in understanding customers, business drivers and the broader payments ecosystem.\nStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.\nA proactive and self-motivated approach, with the confidence to take initiative, seek out opportunities to contribute and learn quickly.\nCollaborative working style and a genuine team-player mindset, particularly within a lean, cross-functional environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with exposure to data visualisation or other analytical tools considered advantageous.\nExposure to sales, marketing, business development or customer management would be
