and Summary\nCreative Video and Motion DesignerOverviewWe're looking for an experienced Creative Video and Motion Designer to create high-quality animation, motion design and visual storytelling assets that bring Mastercard’s brand and marketing campaigns to life.\nThis role focuses on transforming ideas, products, technologies and stories into compelling motion graphics, animations and visual experiences across digital, video and presentation formats.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduce motion design, animation and video assets for global marketing campaigns.\nCreate engaging visual storytelling through typography, animation, compositing, transitions and graphic systems.\nDevelop scalable motion design solutions that can be adapted across markets, audiences and channels.\nPartner with creative teams to transform concepts into polished motion content.\nDesign and animate branded assets that align with visual identity standards.\nCreate motion systems, templates and reusable assets for broader team adoption.\nInterpret complex products, technologies and ideas into compelling visual narratives.\nSupport video productions with animation, graphic overlays, titles and post-production enhancements.\nSelect, edit and sync music, sound design and audio to motion and video content, ensuring audio enhances pacing, tone and brand impact.\nApply AI-enabled creative tools where appropriate to improve workflow and output quality.\nMaintain high craft standards and contribute to the development of motion design best practices.\nExperience Profile\nFormal education in design, animation, motion graphics or related discipline preferred.\n5+ years' experience in motion design, animation or design-focused creative roles.\nAdvanced skills in Adobe After Effects and Illustrator.\nExperience of working with, and testing, generative AI and emerging creative technologies such as VEO3 and Runway.\nVideo editing skills in Premiere Pro.\nWorking knowledge of audio editing and sound design for motion content (e.g. Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro audio tools), including audio-visual synchronisation.\nStrong understanding of animation principles, timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.\nExperience with typography, compositing, colour and design systems.\nAbility to create assets from concept through execution.\nDemonstrated portfolio showcasing motion design and animation expertise.\nExperience working within established brand guidelines.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to craft excellence.\nCollaborative mindset and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.\nDesirable Skills\nCavalry and/or Rive\nUnderstanding of motion UX\nCinema 4D, Blender or other 3D modelling and animation skills.\nExperience creating motion design systems
