The Platform Engineer II drives efficiency and provides value to our internal customers and stakeholders.\nThe ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, is curious on how to improve processes and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.\nRole\nIn this position, you will:\nManage Smart PDU monitoring and infrastructure health.\nSupport port capacity tracking and utilization reporting.\nMaintain DCIM systems, asset inventories, and operational data.\nProvide operational support for data centre infrastructure services.\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests.\nSupport infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.\nContribute to automation and operational efficiency initiatives.\nDevelop technical documentation and operational procedures.\nCollaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvements.\nEnsure compliance with operational and security standards.\nAll About You\nPlatform engineering expertise with exposure to two or more of the following areas: LAN, firewalls, Routing and Switching technologies while adhering to standard design methodologies and best practices.\nMastery of TCP/IP protocol communications, addressing & subnetting, knowledgeable with IPV6 addressing.\nKnowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio: routers, switches, ACI.\nKnowledge of Aruba product portfolio: switches, ClearPass, APs.\nKnowledge of Arista product portfolio: Spine leaf architecture, Cloud Vision.\nCisco certifications such as CCNA required, DCCOR preferred.\nFamiliarity with scripting tools such as Python, Ansible and Automation to improve process efficiencies and remove errors due to manual inputs.\nKnowledge of Infoblox (inc.
