The team owns and operates critical financial applications, including Oracle Financials, Oracle EPM, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase, that support Mastercard’s businesses globally.We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM professional with at least seven years of hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle EPM Cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering end-to-end implementations, application enhancements, and cloud migrations.\nAs a Lead Oracle EPM / Hyperion Business Systems Analyst on the GBSC Systems Hyperion team, you will serve as a functional and technical expert across Mastercard’s financial planning and reporting platforms. You will analyze business requirements, contribute to solution design, perform hands-on application development, lead system initiatives, and provide ongoing production support.\nThis role partners closely with FP&A, Tax, Human Resources, Technology, and other business functions to deliver scalable solutions for financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, allocations, and management reporting.\nThe successful candidate must be able to translate complex business needs into sustainable system solutions while leading initiatives and coordinating work across onsite, offshore, and third-party resources.\nThis is a hybrid position based in Purchase, New York. Minimal travel of approximately 5% may be required. During critical financial-processing periods, the role may also require after-hours or on-call support.\nRole\nAnalyze business needs and translate functional requirements into scalable financial-system solutions.\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle EPM Cloud applications.\nDevelop and maintain financial reporting solutions, including Financial Reporting and Smart View.\nSupport financial-system capabilities related to budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, allocations, and management reporting.\nLead or contribute to end-to-end Hyperion and Oracle EPM implementation, enhancement, and cloud-migration initiatives.\nParticipate across the complete solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, validation, deployment, training, and post-production support.\nDevelop and maintain complex allocation models, business rules, calculation scripts, data integrations, security structures, multidimensional databases, and reporting solutions.\nMonitor application environments, troubleshoot system issues, and identify opportunities to improve performance, stability, and the user experience.\nLead small- to medium-sized projects in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.\nPartner with FP&A, Tax, Human Resources, and other teams to understand business processes and recommend effective system solutions.\nAssess the impact of system changes and integrations across financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, allocation, and reporting processes.\nCoordinate deliverables across onsite, offshore, and third-party resources.\nManage vendor relationships and monitor performance against established service-level agreements and key performance indicators.\nDevelop user documentation and training materials and facilitate end-user training.\nBuild trusted relationships with business partners and deliver a high level of customer service.\nBalance multiple priorities, including application development, implementation initiatives, production support, process improvement, and management reporting.\nAll About You\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nHyperion, Essbase, Oracle EPM Cloud, PMP, Six Sigma, or another relevant professional certification is preferred.\nExperience\nAt least seven years of hands-on experience with Hyperion or Oracle EPM technologies in complex, global business environments.\nStrong experience developing, implementing, supporting, and enhancing Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.\nHands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud is strongly preferred.\nExperience leading or playing a significant role in at least one full-cycle Hyperion Planning or Oracle EPM implementation.\nExperience supporting an on-premises-to-cloud migration or transformation is strongly preferred.\nExperience across the complete implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, validation, deployment, training, and post-production support.\nStrong experience developing and maintaining complex allocation models, business rules, calculation scripts, multidimensional databases, data integrations, and reporting solutions.\nWorking knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, profitability analysis, allocations, and management reporting processes.\nDemonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.\nExperience leading projects and coordinating work across onsite, offshore, and third-party resources.\nExperience managing vendor relationships and monitoring delivery against SLAs and KPIs.\nDemonstrated ability to build effective relationships with finance, technology, and
