Proven ability to lead through influence by aligning others, driving decisions, and unblocking delivery.\nSolid understanding of service and platform level system design (e.g. distributed systems, event driven architectures), advanced design patterns (e.g. dependency injection, lazy loading) and experience with open frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot).\nStrong software engineering fundamentals with hands on development experience designing, building and maintaining production grade systems.\nExpertise in Java, Spring, gRPC and backend service development for high performance, scalable applications\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and including cloud native architectures and migration strategies.\nExperience with relational databases (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra)\nExperience with Business Rule Management System such as IBM ODM, Queuing technologies such as MQ and Kafka\nProven ability to lead design discussions, review code, and enforce engineering standards.\nExperience with modern development practices (Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews).\nExperience with secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT) and vulnerability management\nRole\nDeliver solutions by providing direct development of software.\nWork closely with technical leads for assigned projects to assist in design and implementation tasks.\nShape and drive the adoption of UI technologies and practices across our teams.\nAssist with production support issues by acting as a subject matter expert in resolving incidents and problem tickets.\nPlan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.\nLead day to day system development and maintenance activities of the team to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality and faster time to market.
