This includes coordinating client initiatives, structuring proposals, supporting the activation of new products and services, and ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.\nThe role will also partner closely with the Singapore Country Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to analyse business performance, identify market trends and business gaps, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. The individual will leverage Mastercard’s platforms, products, technology, and analytical capabilities to support strategic planning and incremental business growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccount Management and Business Development\nPrepare account plans and support the development and execution of account strategies.\nIdentify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and generate incremental business.\nStructure customised pitches, business propositions, and proposals based on client needs and data-driven insights.\nSupport the onboarding of new clients and the activation of new products, services, and joint marketing initiatives.\nOwn and coordinate activities within execution plans to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.\nPartner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into commercially relevant solutions.\nSupport overall client servicing and contribute to best-in-class client satisfaction.\nBusiness Analytics and Market Insights\nUse business, financial, and marketing analytics to identify performance drivers, emerging trends, business gaps, and growth opportunities.\nTranslate analytical findings into clear and compelling insights for the Country Manager, Account Managers, clients, and other stakeholders.\nUse insights to inform product, account, client, and market strategies.\nDevelop data-driven business propositions that support client objectives and Mastercard’s business priorities.\nAnalyse the commercial impact of programmes and initiatives, including their contribution to business performance.\nMonitor business performance and recommend corrective actions or new opportunities where appropriate.\nIntegrate information and perspectives from multiple sources to support strategic planning and decision-making.\nStrategic and Cross-functional Partnership\nPartner closely with the Country Manager on business analysis, market insights, strategic planning, and market priorities.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Market Development, Product, Digital, Services, Finance, and Operations, to deliver client and business initiatives.\nWork with internal business partners to understand their needs and translate them into focused analytical and execution plans.\nParticipate in client, account, and market planning processes.\nEnsure that analytical work and business development activities are aligned with Mastercard’s business objectives and client requirements.\nTake ownership of deliverables and maintain a high standard of quality across all work.\nAll About You\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Technology, Marketing, Statistics, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is advantageous.\nExperience in business development, account management, business analytics, consulting, client service, or a related field.\nStrong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and strategic planning skills.\nAbility to translate complex business and analytical information into clear, compelling presentations and actionable recommendations.\nExperience developing account plans, business propositions, client proposals, or market strategies.\nTrack record of executing initiatives and projects to achieve desired business outcomes.\nStrong client and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations effectively.\nExcellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and organisational skills.\nAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders outside the direct reporting structure.\nSelf-motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.\nBroad understanding of the payments landscape and commercial economics gained through relevant professional experience.\nPrior experience within banking, payments, financial services, or a client-facing commercial
