The Team partners with regional teams, product organizations, finance, legal, compliance, and other business functions to ensure economics related decisions support Mastercard's growth strategy while maintaining consistency, transparency, and regulatory readiness.\nAs Mastercard continues to expand its products, services, and ecosystem, the need for scalable governance frameworks, disciplined execution has never been greater. This role will support the development and management of governance processes, pricing and interchange policies, strategic initiatives, and performance management practices that help optimize value, improve decision making, and strengthen organizational accountability.\nThis position offers a unique opportunity to influence high impact initiatives across the organization, providing visibility into critical business decisions while partnering with senior stakeholders to enhance governance, operational effectiveness, and commercial outcomes.\nRole:\nPlay a key role in developing & implementing network economics and value optimization strategies, building new tools to inform how we set our pricing and interchange, and conducting analysis as needed on strategic questions & issues.\nIn addition, the position serves as the main liaison to regional and services organizations.\nEffectively manage and prioritize execution of portfolio of key transformational initiatives.\nSuccessfully drive initiatives from ideation to creation, regional syndication, and execution.\nIdentify and develop creative solutions, with a strong analytical and fact-based foundation, and lead teams toward its implementation.\nDevelop and refine strategies that are consistent with our business objectives cross-regionally\nLeverage and contribute to developing models and frameworks for assessing pricing and interchange through competitive benchmarking vs. traditional and emerging payments providers, comparison vs. alternatives (e.g., cash/check) and the value created and delivered to each part of the four-party system\nConduct strategic analysis as needed to help evaluate new ideas, benchmark across MasterCard’s products and services, and inform decisions on pricing and interchange levels\nContribute (with rest of team) to the development of global pricing & interchange strategies and roadmap\nPartner and liaise with several stakeholders across the organization conducive to advance assigned projects.\nCommunicate effectively to peers and management progress against initiatives.\nAll About You:\nExperience applying financial and business management principles, theories, and concepts.\nExperience with financial modeling (e.g., P&L projections, Cost-benefit, ROI, etc.)\nAdvanced PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite, data mining, python, Power BI, Tableau, Etc.\nStrategic thinker with a strong orientation to detail and execution.\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to build alignment without direct authority.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring that key messages are articulated in a brief and clear manner.\nSelf-managed and self-driven.
