Within Services, the Acquiring & Processing practice helps financial institutions, processors, fintechs, merchants, and other ecosystem participants navigate the evolving payments landscape and unlock growth opportunities.\nWe are seeking a Managing Consultant, Services Business Development, to support the growth of Mastercard's Acquiring & Processing business across Asia Pacific. This role combines business development, client engagement, and industry expertise to identify opportunities, shape client solutions, and support the commercialization of Mastercard Services capabilities.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of acquiring, processing, acceptance, payment infrastructure, and merchant ecosystems, coupled with the ability to translate client challenges into actionable growth opportunities.\nKey questions for candidates:\nAre you passionate about helping clients solve complex acquiring, acceptance, and payment processing challenges?\nCan you leverage your industry expertise to identify business opportunities and drive client value?\nDo you enjoy working across clients, account teams, and product specialists to bring innovative solutions to market?\nResponsibilities\nServe as a subject matter expert in acquiring, payment acceptance, processing, merchant acquiring, and payment infrastructure trends.\nPartner with Services Business Development teams and account management teams to identify, qualify, and advance acquiring & processing opportunities.\nSupport the development of client growth strategies, business cases, and solution recommendations that address key client priorities.\nEngage with clients to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and articulate the value of Mastercard Services capabilities.\nContribute to proposal development, commercial discussions, and client presentations.\nDevelop trusted relationships with client stakeholders across acquiring banks, processors, fintechs, merchants, and payment ecosystem participants.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Consulting, Product, Customer Solutions Center, and regional market teams to bring integrated solutions to clients.\nMaintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies impacting the acquiring and processing landscape.\nSupport pipeline development, opportunity management, and achievement of Services revenue targets.\nContribute to thought leadership, sales enablement, and knowledge sharing activities within the Acquiring & Processing practice.\nExperience\n6-10 years of experience in acquiring, payment processing, merchant payments, acceptance, fintech, payments consulting, or related financial services fields.\nDemonstrated knowledge of merchant acquiring, payment processing, acceptance ecosystems, payment gateways, processor economics, or related areas.\nExperience supporting business development, sales, solutioning, consulting, product management, or commercial partnerships.\nStrong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProven ability to influence and engage senior client stakeholders.\nAbility to translate complex industry concepts into clear business value propositions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities.\nProven ability to work effectively across matrixed teams in a fast-paced environment.\nBachelor's degree required;
