Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. As a member of our Services Business Development team, you will be on the frontlines-building excitement and generating demand for Mastercard’s differentiated Services portfolio-while partnering closely with solution experts to deliver meaningful client outcomes. As a Manager, Services Business Development, you will support business development and sales activities across Mastercard Services, working with a broad client base that includes financial institutions, merchants, and government entities across Hungary and Slovenia.\nAbout the Role\nTogether with existing team, you will help shape Mastercard Services growth strategy in Hungary and Slovenia and execute against that strategy\nSupport identification and development of new sales opportunities with Financial Institutions, Merchants and Government entities\nIdentification of client’s pain points, root causes and potential solutions leveraging a consultative selling approach\nUnderstanding of client’s organizational systems and taking a considered approach to problem solving for the client’s unique situation #\nSupporting the local market lead throughout the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to writing well-structured and persuasive proposals to demonstrations and commercial contract execution\nCollaborate with Mastercard account managers and clients to identify new business opportunities, while communicating opportunity areas, ensuring stakeholder alignment and managing dependencies\nBuilding effective working relationships across all levels in the client organization, as well as internally\nPartnering with project team to ensure project quality and identification of follow-up sales opportunities\nAll About You\nConsulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm desired, as is payments/banking expertise and/or experience with financial institutions\nExperience working within the Hungarian payment and Financial Services industry\nEntrepreneurial mindset, creativity, self-starter and strong commercial sense\nExcellent client management & stakeholder management skills\nAbility to multi-task independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment\nExcellent analytical skills\nAbility to work on a team, as well as driving processes independently\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment\nHigh Attention to detail and ability to deliver client ready documents with limited guidance\nAdvanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills\nAbility to work in an AI supported environment and leverage AI tools for research, process optimization and Lead generation\nUndergraduate degree required, Masters, MBA or relevant post graduate degree recommended\n• Languages: Hungarian and strong English skills required.
