This role focuses on identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and driving impactful projects that enhance customer experience, optimise operations, support digital transformation, but critically future proof Mastercard Services’ growth aspirations. The role will be a hybrid role, customer facing but also responsible for the execution of key internal Services Strategic Initiatives in the Services Business Development UKI team.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Growth & Sales\nDefine and execute growth strategies for two tier 1 retail banking clients in UK & Ireland in collaboration with the Senior Principal for these accounts.\nOwn the sales process from prospecting to proposal development, presentations, and contract execution for select customers.\nIdentify client pain points and develop tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.\nCollaborate with internal teams to design and implement strategic projects, ensuring quality and alignment with the organization’s objectives.\nPartner with project teams to identify follow-up opportunities and drive long-term engagement.\nMonitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to inform strategy.\nSupport on funding reviews, numbers and target reporting and senior leadership presentations.\nAbout you\nExperience in consulting, financial services, payments, or retail banking.\nProven track record in business development, consulting, or strategic project delivery.\nStrong understanding and experience in revenue reporting across multiple system and sales target reporting.\nExcellent use of Copilot, building agents and drafting quick proposals, with applied judgment through AI\nOutstanding analytical mindset.\nAdvanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nExcellent communication skills, with ability to influence.\nEntrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude\nConsulting experience in financial services or payments.\nExperience delivering complex solutions to large organisations.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and a natural collaborator\nAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team and as an individual contributor\n• Knowledge of UK retail banking market, key players, and
