Our technology and innovation, partnerships and networks combine to deliver a unique set of products and services that help people, businesses and governments realize their greatest potential.\nTitle and Summary\nPrincipal - Services Business DevelopmentOverviewMastercard Services is responsible for acquiring, engaging and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, cybersecurity and improving the digital payments experience while providing value added services and using expertise, data-driven insights and execution.\nRole\nLead sales calls and new client development across all lines of Services Business for an assigned set of accounts in Mexico\nDeliver against sales targets for existing accounts and/or contribute to Mastercard Worldwide deal bids\nCapture senior and mid-level clients’ implicit business needs in addition to articulated requests, and identify most critical aspects of the problem\nTranslate objectives into key hypotheses and structure work for large/complex projects or ill-defined problems\nContribute to formal and informal pitches, from “storyboarding” through face-to-face presentation\nCreate succinct, persuasive written materials tailored to the “level” of the audience\nContribute to project delivery, quickly identifying shortcomings in projects and take remedial action\nAll About You\nEducation Needed:\nUndergraduate degree required\nMBA or relevant post graduate degree recommended\nExperience and Skills Needed:\nExperience in top management consulting firms and in relevant industry\nKnowledge of payments market, trends and opportunities\nStrong commercial drive with ability to build and monetize senior client relationships based on empathy, thought leadership and subject matter expertise\nStrong consulting or data driven solution selling background with success with short sales cycles; never give up attitude, excellent at ‘pounding the pavement’ through email/phone cold outreach\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent analytical skills, including ability to frame the customer’s opportunity in financial terms (i.e. value quantification)\nAdvanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills\nProficiency in written and verbal Spanish and English.\nAdditional experience and skills desired:\nRevenue management and P&L experience\nCorporate Security Responsibility\nEvery person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security.
