The candidate will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate accounting services to our Mastercard Worldwide business unit(s) including contract review, plus being a key contributor in the financial month-end close process for net revenue and rebate and incentive payment validation, processing, and approval.\nRole:\nReview executed contracts and create customers, deals and incentives in the Mastercard Contra Revenue System (CRS)\nAccomplish timely, accurate close of the CRS sub ledger and Oracle general ledger including creation and review of journal entries\nIdentify and prepare manual journal entries through the analysis of close results, trends and actual to budget/forecast\nPrepare and review general ledger account reconciliations\nPerform detailed review of rebate and incentive payment requests including contract review and validation of driver data to various internal systems\nProvide overall support and customer service to business partners located throughout the Mastercard Worldwide organization\nRecommend, develop and implement process improvements to improve accounting operational efficiency, quality of output and optimize synergies\nMonitor performance indicators to track progress against goals\nPerform various ad-hoc reporting, analysis or projects, as needed\nPartner with financial systems regarding CRS requirements, data, reporting, and functionality\nSupport SOX control compliance\nOther duties as required\nAll About You:\nEducation/Certification\nCPA/CA, preferred\nMBA Finance\nKnowledge/Experience/Skills\nKnowledge of US GAAP and current accounting concepts\nPrior revenue, contra revenue, and/or contract management experience, preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong customer service and business acumen\nProgressive accounting experience preferably in a large, global environment\nAbility to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment with attention to deadline constraints\nRobust understanding of financial/ERP systems, preferably direct experience with Oracle\nPrior experience in significant process improvements projects\nOrganize and prioritize multiple activities among a team with a high sense of urgency\nCustomer service oriented with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels and organization boundaries\n•
