To successfully accomplish these results, it’s imperative to effectively monitor and identify risks and establish robust risk management (RM) plans to ensure high quality and performance.\nThe GBSC Risk Management Sr. Analyst position is within our shared services organization and reports to the GBSC Risk Manager. This position will provide support in further establishing and evolving an operational risk management program within the GBSC. The role is responsible for supporting implementation and monitoring of operational risk across our shared services functions to identify, assess and mitigate risks that arises from inadequate or failed processes, people, systems or external events, while maintaining a balance between risk mitigation and efficiency.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as a risk management process leader for the GBSC risk management team.\nAssist management in identifying and mitigating compliance risks, enhancing and implementing compliance monitoring efforts and fostering a compliance culture.\nSupport teammates and stakeholders by working closely to develop knowledge base of best practices\nIdentify and assess controls gaps and work with control owners to develop sustainable remediation plans that are compliant with regulatory and policy requirements.\nProactively troubleshoot issues and exercise discretion when management support may be necessary to resolve an issue.\nCollaborate with operations teams to develop risk reporting, Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s), and support ongoing monitoring and testing.\nMaintain the risk register, heat map, audit schedules, action items, and risk response plans.\nConduct incident reporting and root cause analysis.\nHelp develop and maintain reports, metrics and presentations of progress and results for meetings with various stakeholders and senior leadership.\nSupport and coordinate activities from internal audit, external audit, technology risk management, SOX, and enterprise risk management teams.\nSustain GBSC Risk Management tools and resources.\nCreate value and innovation with AI-based preventative and detective controls.\nAll About You:\nFamiliarity with Payroll and the People & Capability (HR) space.\nRisk management experience and knowledge of risk management practices (e.g., ERM, ORM, TRM).\nProven experience in audit, operational risk, or other risk management functions.\nExperience with the “three lines of defense” model.\nUnderstands compliance and risk management frameworks.\nEffective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.\nDemonstrated success in applying risk management to support business/ operational processes.\nAnalytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.\nUnderstands and appreciates diverse backgrounds.\nKnowledge of documenting control activities, test procedures, and validation execution.\nExperience developing process flow and controls documentation and recommending and implementing improvements\nConsistently demonstrates clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication skills along with presentation skills.\nExperience with relationship building and relationship management skills.\nAbility to operate with independence, autonomy, and under pressure, even in ambiguous circumstances.\nFlexibility in working on several processes or projects simultaneously to meet team goals and responsibilities\nSelf-motivated and detail oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.\nKey attention to detail.\nAudit, Risk Management, Compliance, Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma background preferred.\nProficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) with advanced experience with data analysis within Excel and flow chart development in Visio.
