These platforms power highly scalable and reliable billing and pricing services across Mastercard.\nQuality engineering is central to ensuring functional correctness, API integrity, UI reliability, and performance at scale.\nThis role is an automation-first Senior SDET position, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks across API, UI, and performance layers. You will work closely with engineering teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC, ensuring speed, stability, and confidence in every release.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Automation Ownership (API & UI)\nDesign and maintain scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks using:\no Java + Selenium (UI automation)\no REST Assured (API automation)\no Cucumber (BDD) for executable specifications\no Cypress for modern UI testing where applicable\nEnsure automation suites are reliable, efficient, and aligned with engineering standards\n2. API Quality Engineering\nValidate REST APIs built on Spring / Spring Boot for:\no Functional correctness\no Contract/schema adherence\no Error handling and edge cases\nUtilize Postman and Insomnia for exploratory testing and debugging, converting findings into automated coverage\n3. Performance & Non-Functional Testing\nDesign and execute performance, load, and stress tests using tools such as JMeter and BlazeMeter\nDefine and track performance baselines across:\no Throughput\no Latency\no Resource utilization\nPartner with engineering teams to diagnose bottlenecks and optimize performance\n4. CI/CD Integration\nIntegrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback and enforce quality gates\nEnable parallel execution and efficient test runs across shared environments\n5.
