As part of this mission, the engineering team ensures our authentication platforms remain highly available, performant, scalable, resilient, and operationally efficient while supporting rapid product innovation and growth.\nWe are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive reliability-focused programs across our authentication products. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, SRE, Product, Business Operations, and Platform teams and is responsible for leading strategic initiatives that improve platform health, operational maturity, release excellence, and customer experience. The ideal candidate combines deep technical program management expertise with strong understanding of cloud-scale distributed systems, operational excellence, resiliency engineering, performance management, capacity planning, and large-scale release coordination.\nIf you are passionate about building highly reliable systems that power billions of secure transactions globally, this role is for you.\nResponsibilities:\nFacilitate and oversee team Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.\nCoordinate resource planning and capacity allocation across the SRE and engineering team to balance operational commitments, incident response, technical debt reduction, and strategic initiatives.\nDrive backlog prioritization and dependency management across multiple Scrum teams to ensure delivery commitments are met.\nOwn end-to-end release governance across the broader authentication program. Identify opportunities to improve release processes, planning accuracy, dependency management, and overall delivery efficiency across teams.\nUnderstand the needs of the engineers and teams who have to build, maintain, and operate the system.\nIdentify dependencies, remove execution blockers, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.\nDrive strategic programs focused on improving platform availability, resiliency, reliability, and operational maturity.\nPartner with SRE and Engineering teams to identify reliability risks and develop mitigation strategies.\nEstablish structured review mechanisms for reliability, resiliency, performance, scalability, and operational readiness.\nChampion engineering best practices including observability, automation, self-healing, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.\nCoordinate major releases, platform upgrades, migrations, and production rollouts involving multiple engineering teams.\nManage release risks, dependencies, issue resolution, rollback planning, and stakeholder communication.\nDrive automation initiatives that improve reliability and reduce operational overhead.\nInfluence technical and business stakeholders without direct authority.\nFoster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence.\nExperience\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and modern platform engineering practices.\nDemonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs in agile delivery models (scrum, Kanban, etc.)\nExperience driving capacity planning, performance engineering, disaster recovery, and operational readiness initiatives.\nProven experience managing large cross-functional release programs across multiple teams.\nEnjoys diving deep to understand of the platforms capabilities and underlying technologies.\nProven track record of data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams.\nCan debate the delivery strategy with business teams, architects, engineers, and designers\nCan communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity\nDemonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization\nHuge plus if you have expertise in Payments, IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology, CI/CD, SQL/NoSQL databases, microservices APIs, and distributed systems operations in a DevOps model\n6+ years technical program delivery experience including time developing and testing software.\n• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related
