This role is for an engineer who uses AI in every aspect of daily work- coding, design, planning, reviews, and ideation.You will contribute to the development of innovative solutions, focusing on new product ideation, concept creation, and presenting solutions to various stakeholders. As a collaborative team member, you will leverage advanced AI tools and methodologies to accelerate innovation and bring products to market more rapidly, working closely with colleagues to drive impactful outcomes across Foundry and the wider Mastercard organisation.\nRole & Responsibilities\n- Work AI-first across the full SDLC: coding, design, planning, reviews, and innovation - Design and build Agentic AI systems (multi-agent workflows, tool-using agents, orchestration)\n- Apply and evolve emerging standards such as AGENTS.md, MCP, and SKILLS\n- Evaluate and select AI models with clear understanding of trade-offs (cost, latency, reliability, capability)\n- Help build scalable, production-ready software and integrations\n- Stay current with AI market trends, frameworks, and emerging technologies\nRequired Experience\n- Strong understanding of MCP, AGENTS.md, SKILLS, tool-calling patterns\n- Experience with modern AI tooling such as:\n- GitHub Copilot\n- Claude (UI, CLI, Claude Code)\n- OpenAI / Codex-style tooling\nSoftware Engineering\n- Good experience with RESTful APIs, Web standards and related security principles.\n- Java (JDK 21+ / Spring Boot)\n- Good experience with UI frameworks such React (ideally Next.js), Angular etc. -
