For more information, visit www.mastercontrol.com.\nSummary\nWe are seeking a Junior/Intern DevOps Engineer who is interested in learning and helping to build Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) as well as release deployment pipelines to help manage our growing infrastructure and work on CI/CD processes in a cloud-native AWS Kubernetes based ecosystem. \nTo be successful in the role, you enjoy working with engineers to create capabilities with a context and guidance. You are a quick learner who is excited about implementing new technologies, an advocate for software craftsmanship, and take full ownership of projects from conception to production. You have strong written and communication skills, have built automation to scale and work well cross functionally with product, product management and engineering. \nResponsibilities\nUnderstand the design and implementation of an automated CI/CD pipelines leveraging one of these tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Artifactory\nCollaborate and engage with development teams to improve the development experience\nUnderstand the premises around Security, Compliance and Quality gates into deployment pipelines\nBuild basic and initial infrastructure as code, drive automated configurations and maintain them \nAbility to learn about the environment and provide basic support for troubleshooting issues related to CI/CD pipelines\nEvaluate, build, and automate new solutions centered around release stability and readiness\nRequirements\n0-3+ years hands-on DevOps experience working on complex cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (eg. Github Actions, Spinnaker) \n1-3+ years of experience with AWS or GoogleCloud\n0-3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio)\n1-3+ years of experience with managing cloud infrastructure as a code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Atlantis, or similar \nEntry level in at least one or more of these programming languages: java, ruby, golang, python, or groovy\ninterpersonal and communication skills, capable of communicating and collaborating with others clearly.\nPosition intended for students of Northeastern University as part of the Co-op Program, but all applications may be considered. \nWhy Work Here?\n#WhyWorkAnywhereElse?\nMasterControl is a place where Exceptional Teams come together to do their best work.
