Our air compressors are sold through retailers, including major home centers, hardware co-ops, independents, and farm and fleet stores around the US.\n$1000 SIGN ON BONUS Hours - 6:15AM to 4:45PM Monday-Thursday (overtime potential)\nHourly wage range: $24.50 - 30.39\nBenefits:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance through BCBS\nLife, pet, accident, critical illness, legal, and other voluntary insurance options\nPaid holidays\nPaid vacation starting on your hire date\nPaid sick time\n401(k) with company match\nJOB SUMMARY:\nThis candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating various fabrication equipment to produce parts and components that support the manufacturing operations in Springfield, MN and Jackson, TN.\nPrinciple responsibilities:\nProgram, set up, and operate fabrication equipment, including presses, utilizing appropriate tooling and measuring instruments.\nMaintain and control inventory levels of various piece parts and production materials.\nOperate and rotate among all metal fabrication machines as required to support production demands.\nInspect and verify parts against blueprint specifications using tape measures and calipers.\nPerform repetitive lifting and handling of materials and finished products throughout the manufacturing process, with loads up to 50 lbs.\nMaintain consistent productivity and work at an established production pace.\nPerform routine housekeeping, maintenance, and general upkeep of fabrication equipment operated within the department.\nRotate among job assignments and production line responsibilities as required.\nFollow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures while maintaining a safe work environment for self and co-workers.\nPerform other duties as assigned by management.\nCompetencies:\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team\nProficient computer skills required.\nExperience operating press equipment required; programming experience is preferred.\nAbility to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.\nDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.\nCommitment to workplace safety, quality standards, strong work habits, and reliable attendance.\nWillingness and ability to work overtime as needed to support business requirements.\nFlexibility to support departmental needs and assist in other areas of the operation when required.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-pace production environment.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.\nAbility to comprehend and follow instructions.\nAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to a given workload.\nAbiltiy to follow work rules and company policies.\nAbility to meet and effectively deal with deadlines. \n High school diploma or general education degree (GED)\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
