If you live in the comment sections, follow reality TV drama like a sport, know what’s trending before it hits the mainstream, and get Virgo-level obsessed about data and content calendars, this is the role for you.\nYou'll support the Social Content Lead and Senior Social Director in managing the content calendar, creating and optimizing content across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, and owning day-to-day community management from the caption to the comment section.\nWhere You'll Work:\nThis is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three times per week in Los Angeles, CA.\nIn This Role, You Will:\nSupport and create strategic content execution and social media campaigns\nBuild and manage day-to-day posting calendars\n\nCreate and optimize social-first content for TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms, including supporting with hands-on graphic design and video editing\n\nSupport social campaign development, including research, briefs, and creative strategy\n\nMove a post from a raw idea to a published asset - including copywriting, asset creation, approvals, and scheduling\n\nWrite engaging captions, Threads, and tweets\n\nSchedule, tag, and publish posts for content optimization and reporting\n\nOwn community management\nReply to comments and direct messages in the brand's voice\n\nMonitor brand mentions and sentiment across platforms\n\nFoster fan relationships and surface earned moments\n\nSource and manage UGC opportunities across platforms\n\nEscalate sensitive comments, DMs, or sentiment shifts according to team guidelines\n\nSurface insights from comments, DMs, and cultural shifts\n\nHelp the broader team understand what's actually resonating (or not)\n\nTrack performance for insights-to-action\nPull analytics reports across platforms\n\nTrack engagement, reach, and follower growth\n\nApply insights to action - feed learnings back into the content daily\n\nTrend watching\nSpot internet culture shifts, viral trends and formats, emerging platforms, and competitor moves\n\nSurface potential risks, controversies, and emerging narratives taking place on internet communities\n\nIdentify up-and-coming creators and talent for owned social campaigns\n\nSkills Required:\n2-4 years of hands-on social media marketing experience\n\nStrong understanding of scheduling and listening software (i.e. Dash Social)\n\nAbility to concept, shoot, design, edit, and publish thumb-stopping social content; video editing and graphic design experience required.\n\nComfortable behind or in-front-of the camera\n\nExperience creating and executing content calendars\n\nDeep understanding of social-first storytelling, internet culture, platform trends, and short-form video content. Fluent in TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including formats, trends, and what actually performs with Gen Z women\n\nInternet, culture, and Gen-Z fluent - knows the biggest trends, tv shows, creators, and cultural moments before they go viral\n\nStrong writer with a sense of humor.
