We are deeply invested in improving architecture design, exploring and leveraging new technologies in interesting ways to deliver an app that continues to shape how people connect globally.\nWhat you'll do:\nCollaborate across Tinder Engineering on the expansion of our service platform.\nDevelop and operate scalable and resilient distributed services that run on Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nBuild large scale distributed systems that handle billions of data events a day.\nWrite unit and integration tests. \nAccess to cutting-edge Generative AI tools and the opportunity to apply them in real-world engineering work.\nWhat we're looking for:\nAspiring backend developer who’s excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting-edge technology.\nProficiency in coding with at least one language (Java, Scala, Python,Typescript, Nodejs, etc.).\nFoundational knowledge of basic Computer Science principles: data structures and algorithms.\nCuriosity and creativity in leveraging Generative AI to reimagine feature building and development workflows.\nCurrently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.\nNice to have:\nPrior internship or work experience on backend systems.\nCompleted relevant project experience (i.e. hackathons, personal projects, GitHub, Open Source, volunteer coding experience etc.).\nKnowledge of technologies such as;
