This role contributes to ASC 740 tax accounting and reporting, including the preparation and review of tax accounts and related financial statement disclosures in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements. The role also supports Match Group's income tax compliance obligations, including the preparation, review, and filing of federal and state income tax returns and related estimated tax payments. In addition to supporting U.S. filing obligations this position also supports the local income tax filings of various foreign jurisdictions and the associated return to provision calculations.\nHow you'll make an impact:\nPrepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740) including deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances and effective tax rate reconciliations.\n\nPrepare and review assigned federal and state income tax compliance, including estimated payments and supporting workpapers.\n\nReview assigned foreign income tax return filings and the associated return to provision calculations.\n\nFollow, maintain, and document accounting- and compliance-related internal controls and procedures in accordance with SOX 404 guidelines.\n\nStay current on tax laws, rules, regulations, and accounting pronouncements impacting Match Group.\n\nSupport tax audits and appeals, as necessary.\n\nPrepare and maintain deferred tax accounts.\n\nAnalyze tax records and reports.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nWe could be a match if:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting.\n\nMaster's degree in Tax preferred.\n\nCPA preferred.\n\n3 - 5 years of tax experience.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and OneSource Tax Provision or equivalent tax provision software.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.\n\nStrong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.\n\nStrong organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.\n\nWhat's the team like?\nIn this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Tax Reporting & Compliance.\n\nThe Reporting and Compliance team supports Match Group's federal income tax provision and compliance function, working closely with the broader Tax group (planning, audit, transfer pricing and indirect tax workstreams) as well as outsourced preparers to deliver accurate, timely provision and return filings across the consolidated group.\n\nSenior Associates who succeed on this team are dynamic, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple deliverables and deadlines at once, proactive about flagging open items and technical issues, and effective at coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external preparers to keep filings and provision support on
