Senior Director, Growth Technology & Platforms (WIP)

The Senior Director, Growth Technology & Platforms will lead the team responsible for MarTech Engineering, Marketing Data Foundations, Technical Program Management, and Organic Growth. You’ll set the strategy and roadmap for these capabilities, make clear prioritization and investment decisions, and connect business needs to scalable technology and growth solutions.

You’ll lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10 people spanning engineering, data, program management, and organic growth. You’ll bring these disciplines together as one cohesive organization, developing technical leaders and functional experts while building shared capabilities used across a global portfolio of consumer products. As the function’s impact grows, the team and remit have the potential to expand into additional areas of Growth Technology.

Near-term priorities include strengthening our marketing data and technology foundations to enable better measurement and audience activation; scaling AI-enabled automation and performance intelligence; advancing creative technology; and expanding experimentation capabilities across the portfolio. You’ll determine how to sequence these investments based on business value, technical readiness, and where shared capabilities can create the greatest leverage.

This role is part of Match Group’s Global Media & Growth organization, supporting Tinder, Match, Hinge, and our broader portfolio of brands.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Growth Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Set the strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for the function, translating brand and portfolio growth needs into scalable capabilities and measurable impact. Make thoughtful build, buy, and partner decisions that maximize the value of our technology investments.

• Team & Capability Leadership: Lead and grow a multidisciplinary organization spanning engineering, data foundations, technical program management, and Organic Growth. Establish clear ownership, strong operating rhythms, and a culture of technical excellence, accountability, collaboration, and business impact.

• MarTech & Data Foundations: Lead an integrated platform function to build the shared technology, data, and delivery foundations that power measurement, audiences, activation, experimentation, and creative technology across the portfolio. Establish a scalable operating model that aligns technical capacity to the highest-value brand and portfolio needs.

• Organic Growth & AI Discovery: Position Match Group for the next era of organic discovery by building a centralized capability across SEO, ASO, GEO, and AI Search. Develop the team, tooling, and playbooks that help brands act on emerging opportunities and scale learning across the portfolio.

• AI-Powered Growth Operations: Build on our early momentum to scale AI-enabled capabilities across campaign automation and performance intelligence.Identify and advance human-in-the-loop and agentic solutions that improve how Growth teams plan, execute, and make decisions.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with brand and functional leaders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, and AI/ML to identify high-value opportunities and mobilize teams to bring them to life. Build alignment around shared priorities and connect expertise across the organization to accelerate impact.

We Could Be a Match If:

• You have 12+ years in marketing technology, growth engineering, or platform leadership, including experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, data, program management, product, or growth

• You have led a platform or technology capability with a clear roadmap, prioritization model, and accountability for business impact

• You have experience making build, buy, and partner decisions, including managing technology vendors, to maximize the value of technology investments

• You bring the technical depth to engage credibly with senior engineers, evaluate architecture and platform tradeoffs, and understand how data, identity, audiences, activation, and automation come together in a modern growth ecosystem

• You have experience partnering closely with Analytics, Advanced Data Science, Applied Science, or ML teams, translating their measurement and experimentation needs into technical requirements, and operationalizing model outputs into scalable growth systems and workflows

• You have experience supporting consumer growth or performance marketing ecosystems, including mobile marketing, paid media activation, first-party signals, and audience infrastructure

• You have experience applying automation, predictive intelligence, or AI-enabled workflows to marketing or growth use cases

• You can move effectively between executive-level strategy and operating detail, driving complex initiatives in matrixed organizations and communicating decisions, tradeoffs, and investment recommendations clearly to senior leaders

Bonus Points:

• Experience in consumer subscription or multi-brand portfolio businesses

• Exposure to SEO, ASO, GEO/AI Search, or other Organic Growth capabilities

• Experience with creative technology, personalization, or conversion optimization
