The candidate should have a strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, API design, frontend architecture, real-time systems, cloud technologies, and engineering best practices.\nThe role requires an engineer who can work across the entire technology stack, take ownership of end-to-end features, solve complex technical problems, and contribute to engineering excellence across teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nFull Stack Engineering\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Golang and React.js.\nBuild production-grade backend services, APIs, microservices, and frontend applications.\nDevelop reusable and maintainable React components and frontend libraries.\nDesign and implement scalable application architectures across frontend and backend layers.\nBuild reliable and fault-tolerant distributed systems.\nWork on real-time applications and data handling using WebSockets and related technologies.\nEnsure applications are responsive, performant, secure, and cross-browser compatible.\nCollaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end\nfeatures.\n\nBackend Engineering – Golang\nDevelop high-performance backend services using Golang.\nDesign and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.\nWork with event-driven and distributed architectures.\nOptimize backend performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.\nWork with SQL and NoSQL databases and ensure efficient data access.\nImplement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and observability.\nWrite clean, modular, well-tested, and production-ready Go code.\n\nFrontend Engineering – React\nBuild scalable and high-quality web applications using React.js.\nDevelop reusable components and frontend libraries.\nWork with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.\nImplement responsive and accessible user interfaces.\nOptimize frontend performance and application load times.\nWork with WebSockets and real-time data where required.\nDebug complex frontend issues and ensure high application reliability.\nFollow modern frontend architecture and engineering best practices.\n\nEngineering Excellence\nContribute to organization-wide engineering initiatives focused on scalability, reliability, developer productivity, and operational excellence.\nDefine and promote coding standards, design patterns, and architectural best practices.\nParticipate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.\nIdentify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nBuild reusable solutions and cross-cutting capabilities that can benefit multiple\n engineering teams.\nMentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with Golang.\nStrong hands-on experience with React.js.\nSolid understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.\nStrong experience building scalable backend services and distributed systems.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture and API design.\nExperience building production-grade web applications.\nExperience with REST APIs and WebSockets.\nStrong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.\nStrong understanding of application performance, scalability, observability, and reliability.\nExcellent debugging and problem-solving skills.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nStrong communication skills and ability to mentor other engineers.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working on large-scale, high-traffic applications.\nExperience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.\nExperience with cloud-native application development.\nFamiliarity with frontend state management and modern React ecosystem.\nExperience with real-time systems and WebSocket-based applications.\nExperience working with large-scale distributed systems and internal engineering platforms.\nPrior experience in product companies or high-growth technology environments is a plus.\n\nMatchPoint Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
