This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a mature software development environment, delivering innovative defence technology with a high degree of autonomy.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop robust applications using C# .NET within a Windows environment\nTake ownership of complex tasks throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through to integration, testing and delivery\nApply object-oriented design principles and software verification and validation techniques\nDevelop and maintain web-based applications\nContribute to automated testing frameworks and continuous integration and continuous delivery practices\nWork collaboratively with a skilled development team while delivering tasks independently and with minimal supervision\nJob Requirements:\nStrong experience in C# .NET software development, including web-based applications\nSound understanding of object-oriented design and software development methodologies\nExperience across the full software development lifecycle\nKnowledge of automated testing frameworks and testing practices\nExperience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices\nExperience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban\nUnderstanding of microservices architecture\nFull UK Security Check (SC) clearance\nDesirable Skills:\nExperience within the defence or electronic warfare sectors\nFamiliarity with WPF, WinForms and Visual Studio\nExperience using DOORS, Cameo or Azure DevOps\nKnowledge of C++
