# Cheif Electronics Engineer

Our client, a growing engineering services organisation within the defence and security sector, is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to establish and lead an electronics capability for high-integrity and safety-critical applications. This permanent role is based in Worcester on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office, subject to project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Leading electronics architecture, design, analysis, verification and delivery across multiple projects Acting as the technical authority for electronics projects, supporting task definition, estimates, compliance and resource allocation Developing practical processes and procedures for high-integrity electronics design and certification Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, including DO-254 and equivalent requirements across other regulated industries Managing technical risks, project quality, schedules and delivery outcomes, escalating issues and mitigation actions where required Defining the facilities, tools, processes, skills and supply-chain partnerships required to grow the electronics capability Supporting the recruitment, development and mentoring of an electronics
