Whilst here you'll be involved with testing and commissioning of equipment, whilst preparing for UK and international trips to client sites. These sites include a variety of different land based locations and facilities as well as offshore installations. All required training and certification for the role will be provided by the client, but experience of working away often in challenging environments would be advantageous.\nKey responsibilities include:\nCommissioning and acceptance testing of monitoring systems both in-house and on customer sites\nConfiguring hardware, software, sensors and data acquisition systems\nCalibrating and validating load, strain and structural monitoring equipment\nDiagnosing and resolving technical faults during commissioning activities\nProducing commissioning reports, documentation and handover packs\nSupporting installation and project delivery teams\nEnsuring all equipment meets quality, safety and customer requirements\nRepresenting the business professionally while working on customer sites\nAbout You\nWe're keen to speak with individuals who have:\nEssential Requirements\nEngineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or equivalent experience)\nElectrical engineering background\nUnderstanding of industrial electronics, instrumentation or automation systems\nStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities\nGood communication and customer-facing skills\nAbility to work independently and manage workload effectively\nWillingness to travel throughout the UK and internationally\nComfortable working at height and within confined spaces when required\nDesirable Experience\nCommissioning of industrial systems\nInstrumentation and monitoring equipment\nData acquisition systems\nStructural monitoring, load monitoring or sensor-based technologies\nSite
