manufacturer of specialist industrial and marine safety equipment, supplying products to global customers across a range of highly regulated industries. \nDue to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join their manufacturing team.\nThe Role\nAs an Electrical Tester, you will be responsible for testing, fault-finding and inspecting electronic assemblies and finished products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards before dispatch. \nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electronics or electrical testing background who enjoys hands-on fault diagnosis and working within a manufacturing environment.\nPay: £14.50ph PAYE + holiday pay or £16.61 including holiday pay.\nOvertime over 40hrs paid at time and a half\nHours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (40 hours per week)\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry out functional and electrical testing of PCB assemblies and finished products.\nDiagnose and rectify faults at component level.\nRead and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.\nPerform soldering, de-soldering and rework activities where required.\nRecord test results and maintain accurate documentation.\nInspect products to ensure they meet required quality standards.\nSupport engineering and production teams with technical investigations and improvements.\nMaintain a safe, organised and efficient work area.\nSkills & Experience\nEssential\nMinimum 3 years' experience in electrical testing, PCB testing or electronics manufacturing.\nStrong understanding of electronic principles, AC/DC circuits and component-level fault finding.\nExperience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.\nProven experience diagnosing and repairing electronic assemblies.\nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.\nExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.\nDesirable\nExperience with PCB programming and firmware loading.\nExperience using SAP or a similar ERP system.\nBackground in a manufacturing or production environment.\nApprenticeship-trained in electrical or electronic engineering.\nQualifications\nLevel 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Testing, or a related discipline.\nHigher qualifications such as HNC, HND or Degree are advantageous but not essential.\nAbout You\nDetail-oriented with a strong quality focus.\nAble to prioritise workload and work independently.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nReliable, proactive and team-oriented.\nCandidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK freely, and willing to obtain a DBS
