This permanent senior engineering role will bridge marine electronics design, electronics integration, manufacturing, operations and product delivery. \nThe successful applicant will help take intelligent maritime sensing, surveillance and data solutions from prototype and development through to reliable, scalable production and operational use across global markets.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the transition of marine technology products from development and validation into production.\nEnsure designs are mature, manufacturable, reliable, supportable and ready for deployment at scale.\nChampion Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly and Design for Reliability principles.\nAct as the key interface between engineering, manufacturing, operations, supply chain and product delivery teams.\nLead production readiness reviews, product release activities and first-production build support.\nEnsure technical documentation, bills of materials and production data are complete, accurate and controlled.\nDrive configuration management, engineering change control, process development, tooling and test validation.\nLead multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, systems, software and marine electronics engineering.\nJob Requirements:\nDegree-qualified in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience.\nSignificant experience leading complex electro-mechanical or technology-based product development programmes.\nProven experience transitioning products from prototype or demonstration stages into full-scale production.\nStrong knowledge of marine electronics, electronics integration and maritime equipment development.\nExperience working across engineering, manufacturing, operations and supply chain functions.\nUnderstanding of systems engineering, product lifecycle management, design governance and change control.\nKnowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement and manufacturing readiness processes.\nCommercial awareness, strong decision-making skills and the ability to balance performance, cost and delivery objectives.\nDesirable Experience:\nExperience developing maritime, communications, sensing, robotics, autonomous systems or advanced technology products.\nExposure to optical, sensor or data-centric technologies.\nExperience supporting product certification or compliance activities.\nFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing principles.\nKey Attributes:\nTechnical leadership and systems thinking\nCommercial acumen and sound decision-making\nStakeholder management and effective communication\nCross-functional collaboration and influence\nStrong problem-solving skills\nCommitment to continuous improvement and engineering excellence\nBenefits:\nOpportunity to influence maritime technology products from concept through to deployment\nInvolvement in next-generation marine sensing, surveillance and data solutions\nCollaborative work across engineering, manufacturing and operational teams\nScope to shape product development and industrialisation processes\nProfessional growth within a fast-growing technology business\nIf you are an experienced Lead Design & Integration Engineer with expertise in marine electronics and electronics integration, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the future of maritime technology.
