Working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and programme delivery, you'll help shape long-term product strategies, manage technical risks, drive innovation, and influence key business decisions.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while collaborating with senior stakeholders to improve efficiency, performance, and delivery outcomes across multiple projects.\nYou'll gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through to production, delivery, and ongoing support, giving you a unique perspective on how engineering decisions influence wider business success.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nLeading portfolio-level engineering activities across multiple programmes and projects.\nIdentifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, and obsolescence challenges.\nSupporting the development of innovative solutions that improve efficiency, commonality, modularity, and product reuse.\nCollaborating with project teams to ensure plans and dependencies are aligned across the wider portfolio.\nReviewing predicted and realised programme benefits to ensure delivery remains technically achievable.\nActing as a key interface between engineering teams, centres of excellence, operational functions, and programme stakeholders.\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives and helping develop new ways of working.\nInfluencing decisions that enhance operational performance, product sustainability, and long-term business value.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nWe're interested in hearing from candidates who can combine strong technical understanding with the ability to influence and lead across a complex organisation.\nYou'll ideally have:\nSignificant experience within an engineering, systems, or technical delivery environment.\nA strong understanding of the product lifecycle, including design, development, manufacturing, and support.\nExperience working with complex electro-mechanical, systems, or technology-based products.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge senior decision-makers.\nThe ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop pragmatic, innovative solutions.\nExcellent prioritisation skills and experience managing competing demands across multiple projects.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for a variety of audiences.\nA collaborative leadership style that enables teams to succeed and deliver results.\nWhy Apply?\nThis role offers a rare blend of technical leadership, portfolio management, and business influence.
