You will be responsible for managing all security-related matters across both sites.\n* Day-to-day supervision, guidance and support involving all aspects of protective security relating to staff, information, and assets.\n* Initial point of contact for security.\n* Management of contracted site security team.\n* Manage site access and access control throughout both facilities.\n* Manage the Cryptographic material as the Crypto Custodian if applicable.\n* Ensure all necessary site accreditations are upheld.\n* Manage the security of all applicable offsite and onsite events.\n* Ownership of security procedures and ensure they are adhered to and associated risks are managed correctly.\n* Liaising with Project / Programme teams and responding to customer security requirements.\n* Providing the primary response to, and investigating security incidents in a timely manner, ensuring that they are dealt with appropriately or escalated if necessary.\n* Highlighting and escalating any risks to the Project & Function.\n* Auditing of security systems and data-protection compliance.\n* Accountable to the contracting authority for Security Aspects Letters (SAL) and managing the flow down of SAL requirements to 3rd parties / subcontractors.\n* Oversight of staff travel and ensure necessary briefings are given appropriately.\n* Accountable for the security requirements of all overseas travel to meet with HMG International Visits Control Office (IVCO) & Corporate requirements.\n* Ownership of security risk register and critical assets register for applicable facilities and ensure risks are identified, managed and escalated appropriately.\n* Security oversight of both off-site and on-site events.\n* Engagement with emergency services and law enforcement for the facility maintaining good working relationships.\n* Liaising within the Supplier's organisation, and between Security Officials of the ISAC and CA;\n* Advising management on the interpretation and implementation of contractual and, where appropriate, legislative security controls;\n* Preparing and implementing Company Security Instructions, and making sure that they are made available to, and understood by all appropriate employees, updating them as necessary;\n* Being readily available for consultation and giving security advice to Raytheon management and employees;\n* Coordinating the planning of appropriate security controls for a new contract or for the alteration of buildings where classified assets are to be handled, stored or produced;\n* Arranging for appropriate security education and awareness training, particularly for new staff, to ensure that they understand the scale, nature of the threats and protective security controls required;\n* Ensuring that any breach of security is reported immediately to the CA and, if appropriate the regional police and that the circumstances are fully investigated, the outcome is recorded in the breaches register and that a full report and impact analysis is passed to the CA;\n* Ensuring that any security incident involving classified material is reported in accordance with the Incident Reporting ISN to the CA and relevant authority reporting tool.\n* Perform such other duties as the Head of Security directs or may require.\nRequired Experience and typical qualifications:\nAttended NPSA Security Controllers Course.\nAttended NPSA Security Vetting Course\nAttended relevant authority Crypto Custodian Course\nKnowledge of security systems and their application.\nIn-depth knowledge of MoD and customer security requirements and regulations relating to UK
