Our client is currently seeking a Highway Engineer to join a project team on a contract basis. This role involves working on the A9, focusing on the design and implementation of highway changes, and supervises activities on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilising AutoCAD for design changes and modifications
Managing and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs)
Supervising on-site operations to ensure compliance with designs and standards
Collaborating with project team members
Balancing design work with necessary site visits and inspections
Ensuring adherence to safety regulations
Reporting and documenting project progress and any issues encountered
Providing technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements:

Experience in highway engineering and designing
Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and modifying highway designs
Experience in managing RFIs and supervising on-site activities
Capability to work effectively both in office and on-site environments
CSCS card holder
Understanding of health and safety practices in construction
