Responsibilities:\nManaging recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes\nProviding guidance on employee relations, performance reviews and probationary periods\nAdministering annual leave, sickness absence, timesheets and expenses\nMaintaining accurate employee records and managing contract changes\nSupporting annual salary and bonus review processes\nPreparing and collating payroll information, including overtime, salary changes, address updates and pro-rata salary details\nSupporting UK right-to-work, employment status and immigration-related matters\nWorking closely with finance and wider teams to ensure accurate and timely HR administration\nJob Requirements:\nSolid experience in a generalist HR role, ideally gained within a standalone or autonomous position\nStrong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and HR administration\nUnderstanding of UK employment practices, right-to-work requirements and payroll processes\nProactive, self-sufficient and confident working independently\nExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities\nStrong attention to detail when handling confidential employee and payroll information\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to collaborate effectively with finance, management and wider business teams\nAdditional Information:\nFixed-term assignment expected to run for approximately 12 months\nEarlier commencement is preferred to support a comprehensive handover\nThe role will support a stable recruitment programme, with several potential new starters during the assignment\nEngineering or consultancy experience is advantageous but not essential, as support will be available from the wider team\nBoth fixed-term and contract working
