The role will manage indirect suppliers, commodities and services, helping to maintain business continuity, control costs and provide effective operational support across the organisation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage assigned indirect supplier relationships, ensuring agreed service, cost, delivery, quality and responsiveness targets are achieved\nPlace and manage purchase orders, review purchase requisitions, respond to ERP action messages and follow up on outstanding orders\nResolve invoice issues, pricing discrepancies, cancellations, expediting requirements and goods or service-related queries\nMaintain procurement parameters, including supplier agreements, lead times, minimum order quantities, delivery frequencies and service levels\nSupport cost reduction initiatives, minimise supplier cost increases and contribute to purchasing price performance across assigned categories\nIdentify and manage supply and service continuity risks across facilities, MRO, tooling, services, office supplies, IT and other indirect requirements\nMonitor supplier performance, market conditions, capacity, pricing trends and service risks, supporting appropriate mitigation plans\nWork collaboratively with internal stakeholders, suppliers and commodity teams to improve processes, standardise activity and resolve procurement issues\nJob Requirements:\nExperience in a Buyer, Procurement or Purchasing role, ideally within aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or an MRO environment\nUnderstanding of indirect procurement, supplier management and purchase order processes\nAbility to analyse supplier information, assess performance metrics and support evidence-based purchasing decisions\nStrong relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder management skills\nExcellent organisation, prioritisation and project management abilities\nConfident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to work independently, follow procedures accurately and meet deadlines with minimal supervision\nHigh level of ethical judgement, resilience, resourcefulness and attention to detail\nProficiency in using ERP systems and purchasing or business management data\nHigh school diploma, equivalent qualification or relevant purchasing experience;
