The role requires on-site attendance five days per week and will focus on manufacturing optimisation, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and the assembly and testing of electronic and electro-mechanical products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOptimising manufacturing and supporting processes to improve productivity, cost, lead times and quality\nLeading structured problem resolution using PSP, 8D, root cause analysis and DMAIC techniques\nIdentifying and leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects, including communicating project progress\nRecognising and escalating process, delivery and project risks, issues and improvement opportunities\nPromoting a culture of continuous improvement and supporting the development of improvement frameworks\nImplementing PFMEA, 5S and Asset Care programmes across operational processes\nSupporting supply chain improvement initiatives and production teams with electronic and hardware assembly, testing and troubleshooting\nInvestigating product non-conformances and implementing effective corrective actions\nJob Requirements:\nDegree qualification in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering or a related discipline\nStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt qualification\nExperience leading change management teams and improvement projects\nDetailed understanding of electronic and mechanical assembly and testing principles\nExperience in electro-mechanical assembly, automated and manual measurement techniques, and a range of test equipment\nExperience troubleshooting product non-conformances and applying PSP, 8D, RCA and DMAIC methodologies\nFamiliarity with MRP tools, with knowledge of IFS advantageous\nAdditional Information:\nSix-month contract based in Romsey\nOn-site attendance required five days per week\nThe role can start under BPSS clearance, with Security Check (SC) clearance highly preferred\nYou must be able to attain SC clearance if it is not already held\nInside IR35 engagement\nPersonal
