This permanent, full-time role will contribute to manufacturing engineering projects, process improvement and operational delivery while working closely with engineering, quality, supply chain and production teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide technical guidance and problem-solving support to manufacturing and assembly teams.\nAct as a communication link between manufacturing, assembly and engineering functions.\nSupport design reviews by providing manufacturability feedback and advising on machine tool capability.\nParticipate in PFMEA activities, process mapping, root cause analysis and risk mitigation.\nCreate, interpret and approve manufacturing drawings, including stage drawings and GD&T information.\nDevelop manufacturing plans, works orders, routings, operations and technical packs.\nDesign bespoke manufacturing methods and tooling while maintaining machinery safety requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement relating to quality, cycle time, process efficiency and assembly accuracy.\nJob Requirements:\nExperience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, production engineering or assembly engineering.\nKnowledge of manufacturing methods, machining processes and rotating component manufacture, including turning, milling and boring.\nUnderstanding of CNC programming and machine tool capability assessment.\nAbility to interpret and create technical and manufacturing drawings, with knowledge of GD&T.\nPractical experience with PFMEA, process mapping, quality assurance, manufacturing documentation and work instructions.\nUnderstanding of metrology equipment, including laser trackers, measuring arms, dimensional inspection and precision measurement.\nProficiency in SAP and familiarity with engineering, business, 2D CAD and 3D CAD systems.\nNVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline is required;
