Think of the business as a busy garage for commercial boats and vessels. With multiple jobs running at any one time, you'll be responsible for coordinating work, managing priorities and ensuring projects move smoothly from enquiry through to completion.\nYou'll work closely with customers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, making sure the right people, materials and resources are available when needed. No two days are the same, and success in this role comes from being able to stay organised, communicate effectively and keep multiple moving parts under control.\nWhilst marine experience would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in engineering, automotive, manufacturing, construction, facilities management, maintenance, service delivery or other fast-paced operational environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate vessel maintenance, repair, refit, survey and inspection activities.\nPlan and schedule work across multiple projects and workstreams.\nAct as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates and managing expectations.\nCoordinate engineers, tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of work.\nEnsure materials, equipment and operational resources are available when required.\nMonitor progress, resolve issues and respond to changing priorities.\nManage urgent and reactive repair work alongside planned maintenance activities.\nWork closely with operational, technical and administrative teams to ensure jobs are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.\nRecord and communicate additional works or changes to project scope.\nMaintain accurate job records, schedules and customer information.\nSupport the efficient running of day-to-day operations and identify opportunities for improvement.\nWhat We're Looking For\nPrevious experience coordinating projects, maintenance activities, service operations or operational workloads.\nStrong planning and organisational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills.\nA customer-focused approach with the ability to manage expectations.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a practical mindset.\nComfortable working with internal teams, contractors, suppliers and customers.\nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office.\nDesirable Experience\nWe welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds such as:\nMarine and maritime services.\nAutomotive service or workshop management.\nEngineering and manufacturing operations.\nConstruction project coordination.\nFacilities management.\nMaintenance planning and scheduling.\nService delivery or operational coordination roles.\nPersonal Attributes\nHighly organised and able to prioritise effectively.\nPositive, adaptable and proactive.\nComfortable working in a busy environment where plans can change quickly.\nStrong team player.\nConfident communicator.\nPractical and solutions-focused.\nAble to remain calm under pressure and keep projects moving forward.\nWhy Join?\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating people, managing workloads and keeping operations running smoothly.
