This permanent opportunity involves supporting the development of future anti-ship and deep-strike capabilities across air, maritime and land-based platforms, working closely with systems architecture, software and algorithm teams. The role offers hybrid working, with three days per week on site due to the classified nature of the work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the delivery of maritime and land-based anti-ship and deep-strike mission planning products\nGenerate software and algorithm requirements as part of wider systems engineering activities\nCollaborate with software and algorithm teams to ensure designs meet overall mission planning system needs\nRefine system designs, requirements and architectures within a Model Based Systems Engineering environment\nAssess opportunities to reuse development across multiple product variants\nWork with wider mission planning teams and international partners to align engineering development with operational requirements\nSupport the link between mission planning system design and product delivery\nContribute to key programme milestones while engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nJob Requirements:\nExperience in systems engineering, particularly subsystem requirements development and design\nUnderstanding of mission planning, algorithms and software development processes\nAppreciation of Model Based Systems Engineering principles and practices\nExperience with engineering tools, configuration management and configuration control\nStrong technical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to engineering challenges\nAbility to communicate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams\nExperience in mission planning or offboard, user-focused systems would be advantageous\nEligibility to obtain and maintain the required UK security clearance, including British citizenship or dual nationality with British citizenship\nBenefits:\nCompany performance-related bonus scheme\nEmployer-supported pension contributions\nPaid overtime opportunities\nUp to 15 additional days through a flexible leave allowance\nFlexible working arrangements\nEnhanced parental, adoption, shared parental, paternity and neonatal leave provisions\nSubsidised meals, free car parking and excellent on-site facilities\nHealthcare Cash Plan covering areas such as optical, dental, health and wellbeing expenses\nSecurity requirements and nationality restrictions may apply.
