This permanent position is focused within the energy industry, playing a crucial role in ensuring the secure development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, processes, and controls for Operational Technologies (OT).\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the Threat and Risk Assessment process for client products, solutions, and services.\nConduct cybersecurity risk assessments for OT components within solutions and services.\nProvide secure design and architecture support for OT projects following Purdue Model principles (Levels 0-3).\nContribute to security baselines, code-signing processes, and secure boot architecture for OT metering and embedded systems.\nAnalyse firmware vulnerabilities using appropriate tools without impacting operational availability.\nSupport security testing throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring security factory acceptance tests are undertaken.\nIntegrate OT asset visibility and threat detection platforms.\nMaintain compliance with energy sector regulations and frameworks, including ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and others.\nProvide procedural and technical cybersecurity advice to project designers, engineers, and testers.\nMonitor and report on cybersecurity target achievements and proactively suggest improvements.\nJob Requirements:\nExperience in cybersecurity with exposure to Operational Technology (OT), ICS, or SCADA utility environments.\nWorking knowledge of core OT security principles, technologies, and processes, including ISA/IEC 62443 framework.\nUnderstanding of firmware and hardware security concepts, including cryptographic signing and hardware security modules (HSMs).\nFamiliarity with sector-specific protocols such as DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus, and OPC UA.\nSkills in problem-solving, analytical abilities, and strong organisational skills.\nRelevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.\nRelevant certifications such as GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Specialist, or GRID are desirable.\nAbility to work effectively and responsibly without close supervision, supporting a collaborative team environment.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation package\nOpportunity for professional development and training\nWork on a variety of challenging projects\nSupportive and inclusive work environment\nComprehensive employee benefits package\nIf you are a skilled OT Cybersecurity Engineer looking to advance your career in a forward-thinking and prestigious company, we would love to hear from you.
