You'll play a key role in developing mechanical solutions for mission-critical systems while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDevelop mechanical design solutions in line with project timescales, budgets and quality requirements\nDefine, manage and verify system, product and platform requirements and acceptance criteria\nSupport design, build, integration, installation and commissioning activities\nProduce technical documentation including specifications, calculations, diagrams and design justifications\nMaintain design evidence and requirements traceability within engineering management tools\nEnsure compliance with contractual, safety, environmental and engineering standards\nLead design reviews and present technical solutions to customers and stakeholders\nSupport equipment, system and platform acceptance activities\nProvide technical guidance across the wider engineering team\nWhat You'll Need to Succeed\nEssential\nExtensive experience delivering mechanical systems through the full engineering lifecycle\nStrong background in mechanical design, integration, verification and acceptance\nExperience producing engineering calculations, technical specifications and design documentation\nStrong understanding of requirements management and systems engineering principles\nAbility to engage confidently with customers and technical stakeholders\nExperience working within highly regulated engineering environments\nDesirable\nExperience specifying diesel generators and associated mechanical systems\nDefence, naval, aerospace or complex platform systems experience\nExperience supporting customer acceptance and commissioning activities\nWhy Apply?\nWork
