continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Principal Engineer to join their Transport Infrastructure team based in Luton.\nThe Role\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of highways and drainage projects across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector developments.\nWorking within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will lead technical delivery, manage project teams, liaise directly with clients and contribute to the continued growth of the business.\nThe role would particularly suit an individual with strong highways design experience and a good understanding of drainage design and infrastructure solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and delivery of highways and drainage projects.\nAct as technical lead on a range of infrastructure schemes.\nManage project budgets, programmes and resource allocation.\nLiaise directly with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders.\nReview and approve technical outputs produced by engineers and technicians.\nMentor and support the development of junior team members.\nContribute to bid preparation, fee proposals and business development activities.\nEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant design standards and client requirements.\nRequirements\nEssential\nDegree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.\nProven experience delivering highways infrastructure projects within a consultancy environment.\nStrong knowledge of highways design standards including DMRB and Manual for Streets.\nExperience managing projects and technical teams.\nClient-facing experience and strong communication skills.\nCommercial awareness and project management capability.\nDesirable\nExperience undertaking or reviewing drainage designs.\nChartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards Chartership.\nExperience using Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage.\nWhat's on
