Working alongside internal engineering teams and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in the delivery of technically challenging projects supporting critical defence programmes.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the design and development of submarine propulsor systems.\nAssess material selection and suitability for engineering applications.\nCollaborate with internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders.\nEvaluate manufacturability and production processes for complex components.\nWork with metallic, composite and coated material systems.\nEnsure compliance throughout the full engineering lifecycle, from concept through to in-service support.\nProvide technical guidance relating to large-scale precision-engineered assemblies. \nEssential Experience\nStrong background in Mechanical Engineering within a complex engineering environment.\nExperience working with large, high-value engineered assemblies.\nKnowledge of metallic and composite materials.\nUnderstanding of machining processes and manufacturing capability.\nFamiliarity with casting, forging and component tolerancing principles.\nAbility to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.\nExperience supporting manufacture, design integration or production engineering activities.\nWhat's on Offer?\n12-month contract opportunity.\nHybrid working
