It offers hybrid working, with two to three days per week required on site.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLeading thermal mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle\nDeveloping and reviewing thermal management solutions for complex defence systems\nCarrying out thermal analysis, calculations and system assessments\nProducing and reviewing engineering specifications, technical reports and design documentation\nProviding technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams\nSupporting design reviews, testing, validation and troubleshooting activities\nCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and project stakeholders\nEnsuring engineering outputs comply with relevant standards, quality requirements and security restrictions\nJob Requirements:\nSignificant experience in thermal mechanical engineering, thermal management or a closely related discipline\nStrong understanding of thermal analysis, heat transfer and mechanical design principles\nExperience contributing to complex engineering programmes, preferably within defence, aerospace or a highly regulated industry\nAbility to interpret technical requirements and develop practical engineering solutions\nStrong technical documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment\nRelevant engineering degree or equivalent professional experience\nAbility to satisfy BPSS and progress towards or hold Security Check clearance, subject to ITAR and UK Eyes Only restrictions\nWorking Arrangements:\nContract
