# Process / Plant Operator

Our client, a leading organisation in the water and wastewater sector, is seeking a Process / Plant Operator to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs). This permanent role involves process control, plant monitoring, maintenance support and operational decision-making to maintain optimum performance and discharge compliance. Key Responsibilities: Operating, monitoring and maintaining ETP assets in line with operational procedures and Environmental Agency permit requirements Monitoring plant SCADA systems, responding to alarms and making informed process decisions Carrying out planned and reactive operational and maintenance tasks, supporting the Maintenance Lead with more complex activities Conducting laboratory analysis, sampling and proactive monitoring of plant performance Recording analytical data and maintaining accurate information within computer-based monitoring systems Reviewing trends and performance data to identify improvements and support optimisation plans Purchasing and managing operational consumables, including chemicals Maintaining site housekeeping standards and participating in an on-call rota Job Requirements: Expe
