procurement activities across complex engineering programmes.\n Role: Procurement Manager (x2)\nDuration: 9-month contract\n Pay: Up to £45 p/hr (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)\nLocation: Stevenage or Bristol\nWorking Pattern: 3 days onsite\nYou'll be responsible for managing supplier relationships, commercial negotiations and procurement activities across a portfolio of engineering and manufacturing suppliers, ensuring cost, quality and delivery objectives are achieved.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage strategic supplier relationships and performance.\nLead supplier negotiations covering pricing, terms and contractual agreements.\nSupport sourcing and procurement activities across engineering and manufacturing programmes.\nManage supplier risks, mitigation plans and escalation activities.\nDrive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.\nEnsure supplier delivery performance meets programme requirements.\nWork closely with internal stakeholders across Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations.\nSupport commercial reviews, procurement governance and contract management activities.\nIdentify opportunities for supplier improvement and supply chain optimisation.\nWorking closely with programme, engineering, quality and supply chain stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring continuity of supply, supplier performance and commercial value delivery across major programmes.\nKey Requirements:\nSC Cleared or eligible to obtain clearance\nDefence, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Engineering experience\nProven supplier relationship management expertise\nThird party licensing experience\nCommercial negotiation capability and solid contract management experience\nProven risk management and supplier development expertise \nERP systems experience (SAP preferred)\nExperience working within regulated or complex project environments\nExperience managing European or global suppliers\nPotential travel to
