of London's most vital transport operations are currently seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Soft FM Procurement team within a major London transport organisation.\nRole: Procurement end-to-end procurement exercises from inception through to award\nRunning competitions through public-sector frameworks and the open market\nDeveloping and reviewing tender and procurement documentation\nManaging procurement timelines and governance approvals\nEvaluating supplier submissions and undertaking commercial assessments\nWorking closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and determine appropriate procurement solutions\nLiaising with suppliers throughout procurement exercises\nSupporting contract and supplier engagement where required\nEnsuring compliance with procurement legislation, governance requirements and internal processes\nUtilising e-procurement systems, including SAP Ariba\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of procurement activity covering areas including cleaning, security, uniforms, hazardous materials, labour contracts, licences and other facilities-related services.\nKey Requirements:\nStrong understanding of public-sector procurement processes, regulations and governance, together with knowledge of the Procurement Act.\nPractical experience using established public-sector frameworks, with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) experience particularly relevant.\nExperience independently managing sourcing/procurement exercises from requirement definition through tender activity, evaluation and award.\nConfidence evaluating supplier submissions, assessing commercial responses and making well-reasoned recommendations.\nStrong communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders and suppliers while managing competing priorities.\nSAP Ariba experience\nThis is an ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, independently manage multiple sourcing exercises and confidently
