The Excess Flow Management Plan forms part of Anglian Water's response to its environmental commitments accepted by Ofwat. It has created a significant programme of additional investment focused on delivering tangible improvements through the Excess Flow and Smart Catchment programmes.\nWorking closely with operational teams, framework contractors and internal stakeholders, you will manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from scope development and technical optioneering through to procurement, construction and successful handover. You will provide technical and commercial expertise, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Anglian Water's governance, quality and asset standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and deliver capital projects within the water and wastewater environment.\nUndertake site assessments, root cause analysis and optioneering to identify effective engineering solutions.\nCoordinate technical, commercial and delivery activities to ensure projects meet programme objectives.\nManage project risks, opportunities, budgets and performance throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations and Anglian Water safe working practices.\nProduce and support key project documentation including CDM and governance deliverables.\nMonitor contractors and delivery partners to ensure quality, safety, sustainability and cost control standards are achieved.\nEngage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate project reporting and performance updates.\nSupport successful project handover into operational use.\nSkills/experience/qualifications\nYou will be an experienced engineering professional with a background in capital project delivery within the water, wastewater or a related infrastructure environment.\nEngineering qualification, professional membership or equivalent industry experience.\nExperience delivering capital projects from development through to completion.\nStrong understanding of water or wastewater assets and infrastructure.\nKnowledge of Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.\nExperience managing project budgets, risks and contractor performance.\nAbility to undertake root cause analysis and develop practical engineering solutions.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication and decision-making skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, with experience of SAP, Power BI or M2i considered advantageous.\nExperience working within a regulated industry environment is desirable.\nBenefits\nSalary circa £49,000 depending on experience.\n37 hour working week\n 12-month fixed-term contract.
